Continuing the countdown, we are only 9 days away from Saturday, October 21st.  We are now in single digits away so if you have not registered, we urge you to do so.  Two days from today, we will send out daily updates until Walk-Day.

Weather Update:  According to Accuweather forecast, high temperature 72 and low 46, partly sunny.  We will continue to update the forecast leading up to Walk-Day.

Fundraising Update:  The competition among the teams is tight.  Here are the top 3 leading teams this week:  Team “Tobe Levin Von” is currently in 1st place; Team “Arifa Nasim” is in 2nd place; Team “Farzana Nasim” is in 3rd place.  Team leaders, please visit the site and check to see how your team is doing and if you have already reached your goal or have a ribbon.  3 top prizes will be awarded this year to the 3 teams that raise the highest amount.  There will be 2 consolation runner-up prizes for teams ending in 4th and 5th places.  To date, we have raised 54% of our goal.  Please help us reach 100% of our goal.  Let’s go teams!

Proceeds:  The proceeds raised from the Walk To End FGM are used to support the restorative surgeries of survivors of FGM, including group and one-on-one counseling.
